Eggless Strawberry Ice-cream (Without Ice-cream Maker)

 Ice cream is a frozen dessert usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavours. Most varieties contain sugar, although some are made with other sweeteners. In some cases, artificial flavourings and colourings are used in addition to, or instead of, the natural ingredients. The mixture of chosen ingredients is stirred slowly while cooling, in order to incorporate air and to prevent large ice crystals from forming. The result is a smoothly textured semi-solid foam that is malleable and can be scooped.
 I made this Strawberry Ice-cream without any Ice-cream maker, without any eggs. This ice-cream is made with freshly pureed strawberries and only 3 there ingredients, heavy whipping cream , vanilla and sugar.   • Fresh Whole Strawberries - 10
  • Granulated Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Heavy Whipping Cream - 1 cup

Strawberry Ice-cream


Steps to Prepare

Take the heavy whipping cream in a measurement cup and put this inside the refrigerator for 1 hour. Take a stainless steel bowl and keep inside the freezer, we shall remove the bowl just before whipping.

Take the strawberries and cut the stems out and keep into a blender. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to it and blend the strawberries to a nice smooth puree. Make sure there is no chunks left in the puree.

Now pour the puree into a bowl, add rest of the sugar & vanilla extract to the strawberry puree and mix well.

Now remove the steel bowl and pour the whipping cream into the bowl. Now whip the cream till the cream becomes firm and fluffy.

Add all the whipped cream into the pureed strawberry mixture and fold the cream with the mixture very carefully. Do not stir them just fold them nicely till there is no lump of cream left.

Now put the ice-cream mixture into an airtight plastic storage box, and put inside the freezer for 24 hours. After 24 hours your easy creamy Strawberry Ice-cream is ready.

Remove just before serving.

If you wish, you may add strawberry chunks into the ice-cream while whipped cream & strawberry puree are mixed together.
