I received an invitation to an event at Buffalo Wild Wings on last Sunday. Typically, while an event is being planned, the food and services at the location are excellent.
As a large number of bloggers and influencers will be present, they will review both the venue and the event. So far in my blogging career, I haven't had a negative meal or service experience everywhere I've gone to an event. But this time, I was proven to be completely mistaken. Even though it was well after lunch when we arrived, because all the bloggers had not yet arrived, the event had not yet begun. It's alright. But at the very least, water need to be offered. For the next 30 to 40 minutes, nothing. At all, nobody was working at the beverages counter.
A glass of water was served after a wait of more than 30 minutes, followed by another 40 minute wait. I found a cozy spot and sat down. I was joined by a few more bloggers. Then they began serving beverages, specifically mocktails, blue lagoon, and berry blast. I assure you that I had never anticipated such a terrible blue lagoon. That liquid just had a sweet blue color and no taste. However, they didn't come to us to serve any drinks; rather, we had to physically go there to get them. Once more, no food for at least 15, 20 minutes. They then began to serve.
At our table, they started off by bringing the well-known onion rings and spinach artichokes. Those onion rings were the only meal item I enjoyed. As expected, those were excellent. Then non-vegetarian starters like wings and boneless tenders were served. The chicken tasted horribly stale and entirely old, and the tenders were difficult to chew. The wings were also extremely salty.
I only had one of each. Then they provided veggie pizza that had no flakes or herbs and had a rather bland flavor. I had no idea pizza could be made so badly. That's all there is. For 15 to 20 minutes after the pizza was provided, nothing else was brought out. And 3:45 p.m. had already passed. The main course, however, was not being served. So that I could at least take some shots of the main dish, I had to really call the waiters, the manager, and even the event manager.
After waiting for 20 minutes, I was informed a meal would be delivered in 5 minutes. The main course was served just as I was ready to leave, and it was only one dish. I took a picture of it but didn't taste it, so I can't comment on the meal. However, it didn't seem all that appetizing at all . It had some flavoring-infused rice and two thin strips of grilled paneer. Since dessert wasn't delivered until 4:30 pm, I was unable to review it.
I had such a poor overall experience there that I won't go to any future events held there by Buffalo Wild Wings. I would give 2/5 rating for Buffalo Wild wings.
